What does it mean to be a "Boutique" media service?

Unlike volume-based, "all-in-one" agencies that rush through properties, we take a curated, high-end approach. We focus on storytelling, magazine-quality editing, and building lasting relationships. We prioritize quality and creative vision over simply turning over a high volume of standard photos.
How do I know which type of shoot to book?

It all comes down to your end goal! Choose Real Estate if you need fast, high-impact media to sell a listing. Choose Design & Build if you are a creator looking for portfolio work and architectural details. Choose Short-Term Rental/AIRBNB if you are marketing a vacation property and need to "sell the stay," or Branding to elevate your personal business presence.
Do you offer professional staging services?

While our photographers perform light styling and "micro-movements" on-site to perfect a shot, we highly recommend full staging for vacant or luxury properties. We proudly collaborate with professional stagers and can seamlessly connect you with a team to ensure your space is photo-ready!
What areas do you serve, and are there travel fees?

We proudly serve Calgary and surrounding areas (Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks) with a $0 travel fee! For properties located more than 20km outside of Calgary city limits, a standard travel rate of $0.75/km applies.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We understand that the real estate and construction industries are unpredictable! We offer flexible rescheduling up to 24 hours before your shoot. Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours may be subject to a fee to compensate for our team's blocked calendar time.
How does invoicing and payment work?

For standard real estate bookings, payment is typically processed seamlessly through our invoicing system after you download your final high-resolution media. For larger custom design or branding projects, we will work with you directly on a custom invoice and deposit structure.
What services do you offer other than photography?
Caydence Photography is a full service Boutique Residential and Commercial Media company. Included in our services are cinematic and reels video, 3D Virtual Tour (iGuide) which includes RMS and a floorplan, aerial photography and videography, headshot and team photos, lifestyle photography and more. We also collaborate with professional stagers to get your property photo ready. Contact for details!
Where is your pricing located?
We have included all of our standard pricing in our booking system. A custom package may require a quote. Send us an email with your project details so that we can help you find the services you need. Additionally you can find a PDF here, with the layout of our packages.
What if the weather is bad on the day of the shoot?
We generally proceed with the interior shoot, as we use professional lighting to ensure bright, high-quality images regardless of the weather. For exterior photos, we offer sky replacement as a standard part of our editing. If you require perfect exterior sun or twilight shots, we can discuss rescheduling the exterior portion (weather permitting). Please contact us at least 24 hours before the appointment to avoid a fee for the adjustment.
What kind of usage license do I receive with the images?
You receive a single-use, non-transferable license to use the images for marketing and promotional purposes related to the current listing (on MLS, social media, your website, etc.) for the duration of the listing. The copyright remains with Caydence Photography. If the property is re-listed by a different agent, new licensing must be arranged.
Do you use AI or virtual staging in your editing process?
While we embrace advanced AI and editing technologies as powerful tools to elevate your media, we use them sparingly so that we retain the authenticity of the space and maintain trust with your audience. For our builders and vacant listings, we can use it for high-end virtual staging, digitally patching unfinished details, or twilight conversions. For standard MLS listings, we use AI to remove temporary clutter. We strictly adhere to marketing ethics and we will never use AI to misrepresent a property by hiding structural defects or removing permanent fixtures (like power lines or neighboring buildings).
